RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. OUR GUARANTEE

At Marco De Luca Jewels, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you have the right to return it within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with European distance selling regulations.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS 

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
Timeframe: You must request the return within 14 days of the delivery date.
Condition: The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the exact condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging (jewelry box/pouch).
Proof: You need the receipt or proof of purchase (order number).

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS 

Please note that the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Customized or Personalized Jewelry: This includes pieces with custom engravings or bespoke sizes made specifically for you.
Earrings: For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings cannot be returned if the hygiene seal has been broken or if they have been tried on.
Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded; sale items are final sale (unless defective).

4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, please follow these steps:
Email Us: Contact us at marcodelucajewels@gmail.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return.
Approval: We will review your request and send you the return instructions and the return shipping address.
Ship It: Pack the item securely in its original packaging. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Please Note: You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected:
We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the item.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within [e.g., 5-10 business days].

6. EXCHANGES (SIZE ISSUES)

We understand that ordering rings online can be tricky regarding sizing.
If you need to exchange an item for a different size, send us an email at marcodelucajewels@gmail.com
You will be responsible for the shipping cost to send the item back to us, but we will cover the shipping cost of sending the new size to you (one time only).

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Our jewelry is handmade, and slight variations in texture or oxidation are part of the design, not defects. However, if you receive a genuinely defective or damaged item (e.g., broken clasp, bent during shipping):
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at marcodelucajewels@gmail.com with clear photos of the damage.
We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.

8. UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed by the customer at customs or the post office, or due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we will refund the product price minus the shipping costs and any return fees charged to us by the courier.
